We made it!! Today marks post-op day 13 which is a very significant day... the chance of her having any problems with her throat bleeding drop incredibly on this date; days between 6 and 12 are the worst time for bleeding. She is eating and drinking pretty much normally, she doesn't really want to try hard foods, but there are so many soft foods that she has started eating now, it doesn't seem to matter.
Schooling has kept us pretty busy this week. Kyle is doing a fabulous job with his work, is not complaining like earlier years, and working more independently too!! Beth is having more issues this year, seems 4th grade is throwing her for a loop! She still is excited about school in general, but the work itself is a bit hard to manage. I am not really sure what we are going to do with her regarding this... so please pray for us.
On another note, I thought this email from Rachel was funny...er interesting... something! So much for me telling Kyle it matters how you spell!! (I still do realize it matters just in case you wondered)
Only great minds can read this This is weird, but interesting!

I'm glad to hear Beth is eating more and feeling better. I wish you luck for 4th gr. Amanda just started the 4th and I don't know whether to be excited or not.
That was a really cool e-mail from Rachel and yes I was able to read it - thanks so much for sharing.
It's great to hear that Beth is doing better... poor girlie.
What a funny email... and funnier that my mommy-brain could even read it. ;)
I'm glad that Beth is feeling better. I'll keep praying for her and add that she have a sucessful school year too. I like that e-mail, I've seen that one before but it is still interesting to see that you can read it even though it is full of spelling mistakes.
I'm so glad that Beth is doing better!
Huzzah, huzzah! for you, Beth! Although you're not into hard foods yet, you're still WANTING to eat now--that's wonderful news. As for your school difficulties, go slowly on the tough stuff-work on understanding a little bit at a time, and pretty soon your brain will click into, "I KNOW!
We liked the note you sent us, Beth. You'll keep your pace, we know!
Kyle, we're glad that your school year is beginning birghtly--meann your mind is in gear! What subject do you like the best? Which don't you like?!
"I ralely lkeid Rechal's pragaparh!" Because the brain is working to 'correct' the spelling mistakes, it is also hard to type the words incorrectly--that is how repetition helps our memory! Neat, Debbie. I'm glad you shared that!
So glad to hear the Beth is doing better! That was a funny thing -- the spelling email -- I could read it and understand it just as well as if it had been "correct" -- how funny! That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing it.
