Today we went to the DuPage Children's Museum
You can't tell what this is, but it is a room that is very dark (my camera turns is to normal). You push a button to have a light flash and then you can see your shadow on the wall. The kids enjoyed putting themselves into many poses.
In this room you change the lights and it casts a different color or colors on the "wall"; from the other side all you can see is their shadow of colors.
The music room is very loud! But it is very neat... Beth is playing long screws and the closer picture is wrenches. Kyle is hitting a traditions xylophone made of wood.
The favorite place... the water table. They were trying many different ways to get the water from one place to another by using connecting pieces, tubes, and caps.
As you can see... they loved it.
These sticks actually glow so the pictures aren't a neat as the real thing. (to get a glowing picture I have to settle for no child, and I wanted the artist in the picture) From the opposite side the colors look a little different from the color the sticks are... very neat.

And last but not least, are the microscopes. They looked at gnats, butterfly wings, dragonfly wings, praying mantis wings, moth scales, feathers, and more! The upstairs has changed a lot since we were there last time and it is more science and math related...I liked it much better.
